Gabriel Vega leads a quiet and simple existence which is turned upside down when a fatally wounded stranger collapses at his doorstep. As he attempts to save the man’s life, a conversation between the two reveals that neither of them is who they pretend to be. Vega will have to decide whether to vanish and preserve his anonymity or face the demons of his violent past. “Shadows” is in part based on a true story that shaped the US’ foreign policy on their famous “War on Drugs”. |
