Young foreigners, Vanessa and Betserai, are struggling and relying on each other to survive life in New York City. Vanessa quietly plans to make a clean break for herself on the other side of the country until an unrealized connection offers up the job opportunity Vanessa has been waiting for. When her good friend Betserai unintentionally ends up being the last person to know her plans, Vanessa is placed in a tight spot and forced into choosing between a dear friendship and the hope of a better life. |
