Gero lives in a terraced house in the Swabian countryside with his wife, his mother and two children. He is the human resources manager of an automobile manufacturer, has a basement hobby room and sex with men. His wife Claudia is a housewife and mother. She knows everything about Gero but does not talk with him about it. She works out hard to remain attractive for her husband. However, they have not had sex for almost two years. Both are aware that Gero cannot live another life: he is a devoted father of a family and a bisexual man in drag. The marriage seems to break up because of this paradox. ‘Saint & Whore’ is laying open little by little a family drama between middle-class veneer and unlived sexuality. |
