Adam Hanchuk is quirky, neurotic, angst ridden, suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder, and has recently fallen into a deep depression. He is also a superhero. When Perses, a dangerous superhuman mercenary, attempts to steal an aircraft, Adam intervenes only to be beaten and humiliated. Nicknamed ‘Captain Anxiety’ by local news sources and at risk of being shunned by the world’s other superheroes, Adam is given a chance to redeem himself by taking down Toronto’s weirdest super villains. Adam must fight to salvage his already fragile self esteem and work to become the superhero he always could have been, all while saving Toronto from evil-doers specializing in minor inconveniences.
