‘Noir City’ is set in a modern world where every film noir trope and cliche is fully manifested. The 1940s and 50s never went out of style. So even though technology still continues to evolve, fashion and attitude doesn’t. Our story is about Dick Palmer - a private investigator - whose latest case involves the embezzlement of millions of dollars from a wealthy businessman. The trail leads to the businessman’s lawyer and secretary, both of whom have an agenda that goes deeper than originally thought. Dick Palmer must navigate through a series of noir set-pieces that stand in his way of finding the truth. |
