A young soldier is seen in a very distressed state. He is trapped in an elevator which appears to be rising very fast and out of control. Through a series of flashbacks we see past events unfold. The soldier is on patrol in Iraq during the conflict when young local woman who is covered by a burka walks up to him. She raises her hand to reveal a grenade and it is too late to escape the blast. After attempts to save the soldier’s life he finds himself back in the elevator. The doors finally open to reveal it’s destination. The event has linked the suicide bomber and the victim in the most unexpected of ways. |
