An innocent German countrywoman, still youthful and naive in her early 30s, arrives in Los Angeles with hopes of becoming a movie star. A great lover of international cinema, the woman, Jenny, lucks into meeting the reclusive and eccentric German/Russian filmmaker Yuri Gochnauer through a mutual friend. The filmmaker is taken by the girl’s extreme self delusion - and in the process of their comic and bizarre encounter in his stylish Los Angeles atelier, both learn an unexpected lesson about the purity of the artist’s soul.
