In a suburb on the outskirts of New York, Frank and Jennifer Sothman live their daily routine. Frank is a freight logistics manager, while Jennifer commutes daily into Midtown to her position in a nonprofit agency. But one day, Jennifer’s life crosses with Bobby Hughes, an 18-year-old student.
