There is a violent political struggle in Poland focusing on one of the very cornerstones of democracy: Gay Pride marchers stand off against homophobic, stone-throwing fascists on the streets, whilst simultaneously, in the corridors of the Polish parliament they try to prevent the parades from taking place at all. Diana Voxerbrant is a half Swedish, half Polish film maker who sets out to find out how Polish people view democracy today. |
