‘After Vegas’ is a short film that explores the territory in, around and under Las Vegas. It penetrates spaces that have little to do with the usual glamorous image the city has. In slow and painterly shots, the social and suburban landscape depicted is of ruins and crisis. Yet here and there little signs of hope appear as some of the characters tell their stories. ‘After Vegas’ can be seen as a metaphor of the times we all live in, one of change and uncertainty. |
