A Sand Grain’s Dream reflects on the unparalleled theme of the human condition; mainly touching on the subjects of power of choice, free-will, and dreams. The film pays homage to the classic era of silent film-making with a poetic narrative that takes its viewers on an unprecedented journey of the dream of a sand grain. A young girl, the main character of the story, represents a physically manifested sand grain. She is the vehicle that takes us on the dream of the sand grain; which is to escape its desert environment. The dream comes true when she is overtaken by the heat of the sun, and faints into a mirage that takes her on an ethereal journey of sand grain possibilities outside of the desert. |
