MAN OF MAMONII A film about Nathan Gray and the Momoni Reserve in Panama by Amy Seidman. Nathan Gray is the founder and co-director of the Earth Train, an international organization insuring the stewardship and preservation of remaining rain forests in the Madrone region devastated by deforestation. Over 600, 000 acres of pristine rainforest belong to the Kuna people. Although wealthy landowners, they remain connected to the forest as true stewards. With solid collaborative relationships with the local Kuna tribal leaders, Earth Train enables youth to develop skills, offering practical experience, and global network necessary to become effective leaders. |
