Bella is the only woman playing chess at the local chess club. She earns money by beating senior men, but doesn’t earn their recognition. Tired of being insulted and not taken seriously she decides to quit. But her young friend Cane convinces her to play one last game against Victor, the undefeated local champion whose defeat would once and for all establish her status. After Bella agrees to play she finds herself trapped in a much more dangerous and dreadful game. |
