Failed actress Lily and writer Daniel are a young married couple stuck in their Crown Heights after a record-breaking hurricane becomes imminent. However, the real disaster, they discover, is their relationship. Things pickup when Lily’s crazy best friend Amber appears and drags them downstairs to a raging ‘hurricane’ party featuring Jack, a wannabe Nazi-hunter and Chris, a classic specimen of the elusive American Bro who lives, breathes and works at Equinox. Lily feels her marriage is crumbling faster than the hurricane’s resolve to destroy New York, until Daniel comes up with a fiendishly clever (in his opinion) plan to help them work out their issues… The unyielding winds are not the only storm brewing here. |
