The Giver is the story of a man who lives in a rough city that is burdened with a high crime rate. At times he seems a little threatened by the city and the people who live in it. After an incident with his car is resolved by a local man, ‘The Giver’ begins to realize that the people of the city are not as ferocious as they are portrayed in the media. He knows that he must give back to the people community that he lives in. |
