Fed up with the savage ignorance and lifeless nonconformity of the masses, writer Henry David Thoreau retreats to a secluded cabin in the woods to live simply off the land and write on the spiritual benefits of such a lifestyle, living alone in peace for a while - until it becomes clear that the societal ills that caused him to flee society in the first place are the result of a zombie plague he grew too tired of fighting, and his mentor Ralph Waldo Emerson and friend Margaret Fuller track him down for one last fight, against its worst and most rampant strain. |
