How do you say goodbye to someone you love? How do you put your life on pause for a year? Does it ever get easier? Sergeant David Stanton is heading to Afghanistan. It is his third deployment. Rearview Mirror follows the Stanton family as they prepare (and try to ignore the constant countdown) to say goodbye to each other yet again. It follows the 8 months leading up to the dreaded goodbye. Rearview Mirror gives a perspective of what countless soldiers and families are experiencing each and every day.
