While on the final stages of pregnancy, a silent wife, accompanied by her equally taciturn husband, enters the obstetrician’s practice, taking a seat in the waiting room for the regular check-up. Lost in thought, the seemingly alienated couple, who passes the time indolently in the lounge, is too preoccupied with themselves to notice the hungry vagabond in the room—after all, there’s free ice cream for all patients. Eventually, as the whirlwind of emotions becomes increasingly violent, there will be life, there will be death, and everything in between. |
