In a world… …of cloudy skies… …one flower will need to overcome all the odds to find what he loves. ‘Overcast’ tells the story a flower named Florian as he seeks to find sunshine in a cloudy world. Although the flower’s objective is simple achieving it will not be especially when you happen to be food to a certain unsavory character. The short was created using 3D computer graphics and started life in September of 2009. The inspiration for the story came from the English summer of 2009, that featured only a few days of sun. The main character therefore took the form of a flower whose desire was simply to find get some sunshine. |
