I agree about the caricatures. I’m only one episode in, but I’m disappointed. I was looking forward to this series, as I love true crime stories. But something about the dialogue seems so unnatural to me. When most of the characters speak, it’s so overly dramatic and long-winded. Julia Garner is generally a good actor, but her accent is really off here.
That’s so disappointing to me. I have been counting down the days for this release. Waiting until tomorrow to watch with my daughter. I did notice that her accent was a little off in the previews. Hopefully it will still be watchable for us.
