They already set up and stated the next 007 will be a woman. Craig was pretty funny in his statement when asked what he thought about the next 007 being a woman on BBC. I wish I could find his exact quote. Was something to the effect of women should have iconic roles like James Bond instead of gender flipping James Bond. Then he said he was going to star in the next wonderwoman movies and when asked what his role was he said WTF you think I am playing wonderwoman! I really liked this movie and was bummed about the end.
Hahah! This is as hilarious as a Bond film with a woman as 007/Bond would/will be. 😂
I felt the same way about the ending. For me, it was like watching Titanic, for the first time, without spoilers.
