Woe, woe and thrice woe.
I really want to like this even if just a little, but it’s awful and is another indicator that Mr Blonkamp seems to be a one hit wonder following the wonderfuol District 9.
This is awful. It’s like the sims meets the exorcist. The effects are supposed to be ground-breaking but they look cheap and amateurish. It gives me no joy to say it’s wincingly bad. I gave up after the half hour mark. Just like I didn’t make it through Chappie or Elysium for that matter. It’s a shame as there are few talents making films these days that make proper sci-fi.
