This is more culturally relevant giving the increasing xenophobia and racial discrimination, while earlier film seems to only offer heavy handed sterotypes and orientalism. This daring film questions an attitude, and increasing world outlook of centrist intervention and exploitation of xenophobic thinking as a way to control a populous.
In short I applaud this movie and those who celebrate it and condone any who use comfort of nostalgia to the shame the original film hides.
