Unbearably vapid. The same 2-min clip is shown ad nauseam, somewhere between 15 and 823 times in stretched-out segments, with the voice over telling you in painstaking detail and hilarious mock suspense the exact thing you can see on the screen.
Also, those “viral crimes” are more along the lines of “he stole my bike, but I ran and got it back”.
For film & TV students, a good class on how to make full TV episodes with free home footage and a couple of poorly-lit interviews. For the rest of us, this is the bottom of the true crime barrel.
