The first although not a masterpiece, managed to creep me out a couple of times, because of the stupid doll (I hate dolls, they’re creepy). So, I was interested to see what they would do in part 2. Well, what a letdown. They didn’t even try to do something different. Just cliche-filled situations, with your usual typical misbehaving. And from kids too. Lovely. Especially the klepto-nosy one, always touching what’s not hers. Ah, there’s always one of those. The doll this time, didn’t even spook me. Lot’s of jump scares and loud sound effects, which is nothing more than fillers for me. There was no story per se, just scenes set up for jump scares. And so predictable too. And lots of screaming. Yep, this is the best we can do in 2018, people. It was generic and bland. A mix between “The exorcist” and “Ringu”. How original. No, this was a disappointment to me.
