It started out boring, then became exciting, then boring again but eventually a hell of a great ending! :D For those of you who watched The Originals first and then decided to watch this show, it’s going to be a bit confusing. The timeline doesn’t add up. The things that were happening in (The Originals) didn’t effect The Vampire Diaries and visa versa (like the destruction of ‘the other side’, dead people coming back, the effects of Hope Mikaelson’s like the storm, raining blood, etc. Even in the beginning when they didn’t know the original family, which actually the whole vampire community knows about, it was just strange.
And the age of the Salvatore brothers kept changing? :D But overall it was a good show.
