I went to watch this so many times but stopped myself in fear of it diminishing the original. While this one wasn’t nearly as great as the first, it didn’t ruin it either. It seemed really forced the first 20 mins or so but then ran smoothly. I enjoyed this and it had some fun little quirks in it. But it just makes me want to watch the first again. The original had so many more memorable songs that really hit you hard or make you laugh. I give it a generous 7/10 from my fondness of the first.
