Rambo: Last Blood is a vengence thriller staring John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone). Whilst in the Rambo universe, it is nothing like “First Blood”, in fact, the meaning of first blood, is completely lost on this film. It has some spectacular gore. The dialogue is predictable, and even without Spanish subtitles, you can guess what is happening. There are several instances that the Rambo from First Blood would never have been in, and therefore, the story has somewhat lost it’s momentum and impetus overall. However, Last Blood is entertaining. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I also wouldn’t say don’t watch it. First Blood is an amazing piece of cinema that will never be replicated with the likes of a film that uses music to tell the viewer how to feel.
