Josh Gates is super charismatic. I really like his archaeology show. I guess I wish he had more integrity than to do these stupid shows for money(He has a bigfoot show too; same thing but campfire stories).
I agree with you there. I loved Destination Truth. I know a lot more of that series was woo woo stuff, but it was more fun. More spontaneous. Like; in almost every episode, he would eat some weird local thing. Make dumb dad jokes. Constantly break the fourth wall. It was him that I enjoyed watching. Expedition Unknown is pretty good too, but his routine “near miss” accident (where he’d start to slip while he’s repelling) right before the 3rd commercial break, began to appear scripted. He had so many “almost” accidents, I was starting to wonder if he was really that incompetent. LOL. Production value, I guess.
