Another come on strong comedy goes into some half assed dramedy song and dance. I really hope it pulls out of this… whatever it is. This is a major disappointment. Such a strong start..
I am honestly enjoying Welcome to Wrexham much more. I even bought a Wrexham kit.
I used to adore this show too, but I think the same thing is happening here that happens with any long-running comedy. The characters are becoming caricatures of themselves, their quirks and traits exaggerated until they become one-dimensional.
