My opinion is that the walking dead, died many years ago. They should have quit when they were ahead. When they killed off Glenn I was done. I haven’t watched it since or any of it’s spin off’s
Yeah, I can’t say I was happy with that either, but I still watched for a while after that just to see what they were going to do with it. Truth be told, after a bit I kind of lost my taste for it. I did try and watch some of the spin offs, and while they did have some good points, they always seemed to fail more then they delivered.
I think the main complaint I was seeing from a lot of people that read the graphic novels (which I never did) is that they should have stuck to the script. That would have made the whole thing a lot better. I believe at one point in a discussion in a spoiler laid out a good bit of how it worked out in the graphic novels, and it seemed like that would have been a pretty good story line.
At this point, I tend to agree, they really should have just done that, instead of doing what they did. They (I believe) instead tried to milk it for all they could, instead of just taking a pretty good story line and just running with it.
But that’s Hollywood for ya, take something that’s perfectly good and just bastardize the heck out of it….
