I miss Jack O’Neil. I would just finish out SG1 to enjoy it fully. Atlantis was good, but I found it somewhat of a grind to watch compared to everyone’s favorite squad of Jack, Sam, and Daniel.
Yup, me too. Richard Dean Anderson. Got curious and looked the guy up, he was born in 1950, so that would make him 74 years old this January, which is when his birthday is, can’t remember the day. Was a really good show, miss it.
I liked Atlantis, but like you, I found the original better. Atlantis was good, no doubt, but always felt like there was a little something MISSING…couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but it was lacking in something that the original had in some way you just couldn’t define.
Some shows just be like that I guess, they are tough acts to follow.
