After 2 episodes I am still not hooked. I had high hopes because of Austin Butler and Barry Keoghans names alone, but even their contributions have come up short so far. I will finish this series because of the subject matter and hope that the characters are developed more than they have been so far.
It left me feeling underwhelmed. I get the aviation side of things is different as opposed to say Band Of Brothers or The Pacific, but it’s just not there. I finished it regardless. I hope they come out with a pacific theater of aviation series like the series mentioned above. It was way more exciting to me than the European theater of war and they could make it work using famous pilots from both sides.
