I am sure that company has good insurance on those drones, but yes, i am sure Brandon still pays quite a lot for all the stuff. Which leads me to think, a lot of people think this is fake or not totally real. Why would these companies risk their business to be fake? Take the drones, they have flown 3 different tests which resulted in a lot of loss, money wise. Plus, they have never successfully finished the job, which could make their company look bad, why would they do that on national TV? Same with the drilling company, those drill bits and the guy running the machine are very pricey. Why put your business name out there just to show failure and loss of money? One more, the science guy that was on there from USLC (I think that was the school), he said with certainty that it was a dire wolf. I find it hard to believe that an accredited college would allow one of their employees get on national TV and say something so crazy unless there was some truth to it. Even if they get paid in some form, it still looks bad on the school.
I agree with you on all points. I actually follow Sky Elements Drones on Facebook, they have some fantastic shows/displays and for sure they wouldn’t put their reputation on the line for a possible hoax. The biggest issue people have with the show (myself included) is that not all results are shown on air, the only way to get them is to join their website for like $80 a year. And even though I have respect for Travis, I think him being there is a conflict of interest. He works for the government (admitted the new contract I think at the beginning of season 2) so the NDA’s he’s signed prevent him from saying if they “really” find something. Which goes completely against what Brandon says he wants for the project. If/when they do find something of significance I seriously doubt we’ll be told.
