Chibi, as you know I’m pretty far left, but I never saw the Major as Asian. People complaining about that were clueless as to the whole point of the film and were probably just jumping on the bandwagon. It was pretty much a frame to frame copy, Scarlett was brilliant and Major could have been played by any race/nationality. I have to say that it didn’t grab me like the original, but it was still a fantastic “live action” version.
well nothing will ever be as good as the original 1995 anime its a classic. cause its more then just an anime its a thought provoking film that can challenge even the most hard core of skeptics. it asks the most hard hitting questions of life :)
