I haven’t seen this made-for-television movie in years, and just re-discovered it. When I first viewed it, I had not yet become acquainted with Frances de la Tour, and was delighted to see her in this rather stern role. But she carried it off with style and grace. As for Bette Davis, even after suffering a stroke, she still acted like the pro she always was.
