Matt pushes the boundaries when he fails to turn in a letter from a capture fugitive. Instead, he fulfils the fugitive's wish to pass the letter to his sick mother, and finds himself caught up in a murder case which should have been open-and-shut. With his job on the line, Matt continues his invesitgation contrary to orders. Meanwhile, Jennifer struggles to hide her emotions in light of a traumatic event and seeks advice from an unlikely source. |
