Jackie comes into conflict with Lord Ashfordly when she becomes determined to protect a lovestruck youngster, who was shot on his land by his new gamekeeper, from a case of injustice. Meanwhile, Greengrass becomes a newspaper columnist for the Ashfordly Gazette and cannot resist using his new job to express his opinion of the police force and the local nobilities. |
