Nick is reunited with the troublesome Tinniswood family when an elderly widow plots to avenge her husband's death after he dies of a heart attack whilst fighting with an intruder. Meanwhile, Blaketon and Greengrass are united in their animosity towards a pompous special constable assigned to assist Nick in Aidensfield when he takes his superiority too far when it comes to the annual village fair. |
