In the well-known Nighttalk show by Melissa Morgenstern, an anonymous caller boasts that he shot police officer Martin Krauss. "Just like that!" And he'll probably kill again. Of course, this story made headlines. But Freddy Schenk and Max Ballauf follow a different lead in the case of their murdered colleague: Krauss was a broken man. After an affair with a colleague, his wife left him and the children. Since then, he's bottled more and more often. And as it turns out, he was heavily in debt. During the interviews, his girlfriend Rita Anspann and his boxing training partner Hakan Simsek get caught up in contradictions.
