In episode 5, Paul first meets three-year-old Angel who is a regular visitor to Eagle Ward, the hospital's kidney centre. Effervescent Angel has been visiting GOSH three times a week for two and a half years as she needs dialysis while she waits for a new kidney, and her infectious personality has made her a much-loved patient. Paul is soon smitten by her positive character, so much so he readily accepts her invitation to her upcoming birthday party on the ward – but when the big day arrives, can he help make it a celebration Angel will never forget? |
