Country girl Ariana recently moved to the Big Apple to an historical Upper Westside brownstone. After being burned by a slew of contractors, she decides to act as her own general contractor. With her parents help, she fixes the old plaster walls, installs hardwood flooring throughout, and completely remodels the tiny kitchen. Working in a small space on a tight deadline at the top of a fourth-floor walk-up doesn't get this determined DIYer down.
