Great show from start to finish. The characters were people you really felt for, whether you loved or hated them, whether they were accessible or inscrutable, guileless or wicked. I’m sure going to miss them all. The producers wrapped things up pretty well. IMHO this show eats GoT’s lunch (although that had its charm at times). If you liked Vikings, be sure you also see “The Last Kingdom” if you haven’t already. It’s a Vikings vs. King Alfred saga.
I don’t know how I feel about this ending better than true blood and game of thrones it wasn’t a bad ending now I got last kingdom to look forward to if the next season is its last
I don’t care what anyone says.. Vikings beats the pants off of Game of Thrones. Sure the last 2 seasons weren’t as good at the first 4 but so were Game of Thrones. Sad to see it ends but happy I was here for the adventure. Skål!

binged watched 11-20 and even tho it tied up most of the storylines and the death of a few more major characters -it left me with a feeling of wanting more closure of the 3 stories which technically is silly cos the story never ended - still a brilliantly written and acted saga from start to finish -and more interesting than GOT storywise -great seeing Floki again albeit breifly (even tho it never explains how he got out of the cave /volcano ) -my only real gripe was ivar teh boneless never met the russian prince oleg they never crossed paths -now off to binge watch the of monty python-esque vikings “ “NORSEMEN “again
Gotta say, I’m really gonna miss this, but that part with the brother at the end, really didn’t see that one coming…
If your not a stickler for exact history, which this was never supposed to be Lol You’ll be glad you finished the series, I wasn’t going to and then changed my mind last min. Very glad I did, thank you for the insanely quick links!!!
It’s no surprise that a History Channel/Amazon production would screw up the real origins of the Beothuck people. The Norse certainly were on New Finland Island but, they didn’t make it there on their own. They were picked up in Greenland by Chinese explorers and transported to New Finland (Vinland) where the Norse and Chinese created a settlement together.
Even though I loved the hell out of it, thank the gods it’s over.
very disappointing finale to the whole show! although if it had of carried on I wouldn’t of continued to watch the earlier seasons were amazing it lost it edge towards the end unfortunately
