Because she needs the money, Charirty Kittridge reluctantly poses as a pigeon to trap a murder-for-insurance ring. She refuses a strong man (Cal Bolder) as her pigeon "bridegroom," so investigator Steve Banks (James Philbrook) takes the role for the faked marriage. This sets the trap for the murder ring to expose themselves. Co-investigator Russ Andrews keeps the plan from backfiring when Charity comes close to really being killed. |
