Yurt builders Nathan and Jenny Toler live in a village of yurts on the North Shore of Oahu but their family is growing, so they're adding on and building a whopping 1,400-square-foot yurt at the far end of their property. For this large-scale build, they're pulling out all the stops, creating an octagonal shaped kitchen made of native Kamani nut, funky stairs and a curvy media room. With just six weeks to finish this yurt before the rainy season begins, they scramble to give it a total wow factor. |
