This time, Conor joins Surrey trading standards officers for an early morning raid on the home of a suspected conman who has allegedly been grooming a vulnerable man in his 60s. As well as finding the suspect, the team turns up a large amount of cash in £50 notes. On patrol with the team, officer Raith Bennett says he's usually able to spot scammers when he sees them: "Most people who've got a couple of years of enforcement under your belt, will develop a kind of sixth sense if you like and that can identify that something's wrong." |
