A Polish teenager becomes the victim in an armed police operation, putting the department under severe scrutiny. Soon after the inquest delivers a lawful killing verdict, the body of a mutilated Turkish man turns up near the scene of the first shooting. Vicky Sharpe has to question whether the two killings are linked and approaches Lyell to seek help in sorting through the evidence. More bodies are discovered as the investigation continues and the team get drawn into the world of Turkish gangsters. |
