Derek explores two popular Welsh tourist sites, before setting off to discover their more secret side. His first walk begins at Porthmadog harbour, before crossing the cob and arriving at the Italianate village of Portmeirion, and discovering 'Y Gwyllt' the wild headland beyond. It's then time for a treasure hunt, as he visits the Roman gold mines at Dolaucothi, before breaking out into some beautiful countryside to take up their trig point challenge, and reach the highest point on the estate. |
