A young man is stabbed in broad daylight in Weston-super-Mare. Police race to find the two suspects, but despite the help of the force helicopter, they have bafflingly disappeared. In Bath city centre, a brutal assault on a woman pushing a pram is caught on a bystander's camera phone. As well as capturing the shocking footage, the have-a-go-hero goes a step further and, before the neighbourhood team can reach the scene, takes on the attacker.
