Some interesting news! Tomb Raider will have a tv series! Emmy winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge was writing and producing an adaptation of the popular video game turned action movie Tomb Raider, the retail giant/streamer has handed out a series order for the live-action series. A worldwide casting search will begin soon for an actress to play Lara Croft.

I certainly hope they renew this. This spin-off is actually better than the original series. Far more compact with more action, and less repetitive blah-blah to fill up the time.

So quirky…like only Ireland can be. I loved it!

i was watching this pretty happily til i got to 1x11 ‘dinner with dana’ to which the only response i could come up with was WTF!? what did i just watch!? what was that direction? how am i supposed to interpret any of these characters after the main dude doesn’t flinch whilst dana’s blatantly panicking whimpering and regressing in front of him because she seems to be locked in a room with him? why doesnt he open the door?? why is she expositioning that way WHY DOES HE OUTSTRETCH HIS ARMS INSTEAD OF LETTING HER OUT why does she run into his arms so abruptly whyyyy…i felt so bizarre after that. idk if i’ll come back to this show.

Nick Nolte and Bill Murray are set to star in The Ploughmen, Ed Harris’ next feature as director. “Nolte will play John Gload, a killer who’s finally apprehended after a lifetime of violence. Put in jail by a small-town Montana sheriff (Murray), he has a conversation with Val Millimaki who’s trying to find out where Gload has buried decades of bodies. The two men soon find they have more in common than they realize. The movie will be a family affair, with Harris’ wife Amy Madigan and their daughter Lily Harris also set to star. The film has been in development for some time and being filmed in Montana this fall.” So expect a release date maybe in spring of 2025?

I don’t understand the hate in the comments. If you are a fan of Godzilla or Kong, you will absolutely love this movie. So much action. Loved the story behind it. And as a fan who grew up watching the original movie reruns with my dad … this movie hit the nail on the head. Was it as good as Minus One? No. But that movie was done by the people who created Godzilla and have years behind the belt on how to make a movie with him amazing. Again. If you are a fan. Don’t listen to the comments. Watch the movie. 4 stars easy.

Nice horror movie. Was a little scary but not too scary. I can’t say much without giving away the plot but it’s not a B-movie and it is well produced. No over-the-top stuff. Recommended for a watch.

This episode was top notch. I’m still laughing.

I liked this movie. Ian McShane is top notch in his role, especially in scenes where he says little but his eyes and face tell the story.

Wait, what? No story? They had a huge backstory to tell with Kong that has never been told before in these movies. Unlike with Godzilla. Which has had his backstory and most subplots laid out, Kong has not. That is why Kong was center stage in this movie. This wasn’t just a Godzilla or Kong movie. Both had their parts. In Gozilla Vs Kong, Kong helped Zilla. So in this one, the favor was returned as Zilla helped Kong. It had a very strong story. And really, this move was just as good as the rest of the Monster-Verse movies thus far. If you want to hate on the film, that is fine. We all have our own tastes.

A different style of a vampire movie.The little girl was fantastic.All the actors were really good.Loads of blood and guts.I found it to be enjoyable with tons of surprises:)

The translated titles from Japanese to English always amuse me.

This is turning into a pretty good season.

I shall be watching this and since I’m in my mid 60’s (thankfully I don’t look my age), I’m more concerned about being scammed. But this here should be something that any senior citizen should be aware of and not just the women, men should be aware of this too.

Another update on this new drama: Before Season 1 even got a release date — which is still pending — Prime Video already announced that the series is coming back for Season 2.

Saw Volcano yesterday night. This movie? The Anti-Volcano by every metric imaginable. Legendary flick. My only regret is not having discovered this sooner!
